Dr. Akanni has been around sports all his life. He played DII basketball at Virgina Union which sparked his interest in human performance. Dr. Akanni founded Salako Fitness in 2016 with the hopes of helping active individuals reach their desired performance goals. He has 6 years of experience in strength and conditioning, sports performance, and rehabilitation!

Dr. Evann Slaughter, PT, DPT, CSCS  

Dr. Evann Slaughter graduated from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2021 with her doctorate of Physical Therapy. She received her bachelors degree in Anthropology from Stony Brook University, where she was a 5-year member of the volleyball team.

After college, she continued her volleyball career in Germany, playing professionally in the 2nd Bundelisga for two seasons before returning to the states for PT school. During her time at UMES, she also was an assistant coach for the volleyball team for 2 seasons. 

Evann is currently certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and as an Emergency Responder for the Athlete (ERA). 

Dr. Tyler Logan, PT, DPT, CSCS  

Specializing in strength and conditioning, Dr. Logan works with athletes of all ages, from youth and high school to college and professional.  He is also experienced in geriatrics, vestibular rehab, neurological conditions, post-op treatment, musculoskeletal injuries, and more.
Dr. Logan obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Movement and Performance from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL where he was also a NCAA Division II Men 's Basketball National Champion.  He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, MD. He is also a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys working out at the gym, playing basketball, and reading.
